Hi, all -- there seems to be disagreement on how big these guys get. I've seen 6" for L18 and up to 14" for some of the other varieties.

Which varieties seem to be in the shops most often? Would L18 be happy in a 20 gal long tank (as the only occupant)?

Hi, all -- I have a 55 w/ 3 GF and 2 dojos, and am thinking of setting up a tank for bristlenose catfish. They are adorable! Am I correct that they only get to 5" or so? And if this is true, would 1 or 2 be better? Would they be happier w/ company or without? I have a 10 g I can set up, but am not ...
