Re: Which one is this?

No, the structure of finns and body is different, also the size. The maximum size of macrophthalmus is 8 cm, mine are 25 ( female ) and at least 15 cm ( male ). Here 2 pictures, male in stress colors https://s11.postimg.org/h99h9aden/IMG_5918.jpg https://s21.postimg.org/7xu3bbywz/IMG_5919.jpg L182?

Re: Which one is this?

I happened to walk in my LFS today, there is exactly the same kind, but a man. Scales, fins, construction and blue eyes are the same as the female.
Also, it has bright blue eyes, not turbid eyes.

The male is 15 cm

Re: Rineloricaria Sp.paraguay

I don't know that. I depend on the information I get from my local fish store and the information of the wholesale.
I assume ( I know that is not the right way ) that they get their information from their supplier.

Re: rineloricaria sp. rio paraguay

Yes, they are mouthbrooders but with green eggs. They spawn like Sturisoma but low on the glass. I keep them in an unheated tank in my fishroom, about 72-74F. They eat all foods and are hardy; the fry are REALLY hard to raise. Jools In the store I bought them the male was taking them over the sand ...
