Was in the local Lfs looking for Scarlet Badis(Danio Danio) and saw the guy in a tank with a crab and one eye. The tank wasn't labeled and the guy said it was a butterfly pleco. Since I thought i was getting a great deal do to injury($3). I didn't make him look it up. I posted this in a different ...

Ok. The Lfs, which is pretty good most of the time said it was a butterfly pleco but nothing was listed on the tank and he didn't look it up to confirm. They carry mangos, Goldies, snowballs, and many others so they usually are on point. Guess this one slipped through.... Sent from my iPad using ...

Was at the Lfs today and I spotted a pleco in with a crab. The poor guy (or gal) only has one eye. It looks like it was literally plucked right out of the socket. I use nls wafers and my various JDs(wild caught, blue gene and electric blues) love them as much as the plecos. Sometimes the JDs will eat the first so I supplement with a lot of veggies and other foods in addition to just wafers.

Yesterday I purchased a pair of albino- blue eyed long fin bristlenose from a member of my local aquarium club. He referred to these as L144 but I know there are fish that are called these but are not L144s. I have found conflicting info online.

Looked for two days and moved everything in the tank but I could not find a it. I just looked back behind and there's the poor little guy all shriveled up. I've never had one jump out before and the opening is tiny. I'm so bummed out now....

I am either going to get some L128 ‘blue phantom plecos’ or L075 ‘decorus pleco. Which would be:
a. Easier to breed?
b. easiest to sex?
c. The most social?

I presently have a 20L that has a 3" JD. What would be a good fit in there for him? I have commons and albino bnp in with my ebjd and my bgjd tanks so I'd like something different than the norm.
