oh, I was just using metro just as an antibiotic. I've heard that the callmanus tears up the intestine fairly well. So, the metro would just be a preventative once and if the worm falls off and leaves the intestinal wall lacerated or something.

praziquantel/metronidazole

Does anybody have experience to say praziquantel and metronidazole are ok for the following plecos: L-66 (or other Hypans) L-114 (or other -acanthicus) L-71 or L-59 (not sure... some Ancistrus) they're in a tank with some Cichlids and a putative Camallanus problem. thanks... I know I should use ...

all the tickets have sold out. Thanks for your interest and good luck if you entered.

In the future, if we have another catfish in the mix, I'll try and let you guys know earlier. I didn't even think of it until we had a few tickets left.

Thanks for letting me post this, Jools.

I just got a great deal on one of these bad-boys too. $70 at a LFS.... it was a trade in and the store owner is a friend. He was well aware what he could have asked for the fish, but for some reason he let me have it for relatively cheap. pics here: http://www.forum.planetcatfish.com/viewtopic.php?t ...

ok, so I read this (again) and now it makes more sense. I have a cochliodon. http://faq.planetcatfish.com/index.php?qid=6&frommostpopular=yes So, suttonorum or suttoni hasn't been seen since it was described? That part I still don't get. I guess, what I'm asking is, are there two types of blue eyed ...

is this a suttonorum or cochlidon... I'm not quite sure I understand the difference. Is suttonorum still valid, or just not ever in the hobby. http://www.predatoryfish.net/pics/chris/fish/bucket%202.jpg http://www.predatoryfish.net/pics/chris/fish/DSCF0603.jpg more pics here: http://www ...

loricariidae genus run-down

I feel like I should be able to find this... but I haven't. I'm no good with the search function on forum sites. So, I'm sorry if this question has been asked a million times.... I'd like to find a complete but concise description of what (if any) visible physical characteristics are used to group ...

I think he merely means an albino fish was wild caught, and from that fish his friend has started breeding a captive line. So, the first instance of albinism was in a wild-caught fish rather than a mutation that came to light after a few captive breedings.

thanks so much! I checked in the cat-elog and that's definitely it. I guess some have lines on their face and some just have dots? Is it like an age thing, maybe? Also, have you ever kept them? Mine has an AMAZINGLY caved in abodomen. In any other panaque (or loricariid for that matter) I've kept, I ...
