Well IMO as long as there is a food source and you are not losing any the should be eating. They get hungry enough they normally figure out the need to eat. I don't have of those L10a's yet thinking of getting some very soon. Best of luck

I have a group of 12 and they school more then my tetras do. I wouldn't think a couple would do very well? They remind me of corys the bigger number they have the more active and happier they seem to be? my 2 cents

My phantoms(L128s and L200s) are the most active with each other chasing each other quite a bit. Nothing overly aggressive though don'tworry. They don't hide very much and seem to the most active out of all the other ones that I have.
