Hi all. Got these guys about 5 months ago. Growing slowly but healthy otherwise
I got it as L27, seller dont know any specifics.
Any Idea, Guess or Opinions?

contact Jim, pseudasmart if he's got some for sale, I think he's is at 5o to 70 range. I think a 5 to 7" would be around 130 to 200 range is my guess.

I received two Royals not too long ago and they are about 8". At what size do they start growing whiskers? I don't see any signs that they are growing any. First off, im sorry for your loss. You are right, never trust any seller, i always reseal mine, if the seal looks good, i apply a thin layer on top of the old one. its been working out for me so far Did you just say "Bleach"? "Over the weekend I bleached, drained, and rinsed the tanks very well ...

Thanks Matt... the suppliers description is L27c Platinum Tocantins. I asked for some pics and I will compare to yours.
The gaps of the stripes on yours looks like thicker than xingu or any other royal. Very nice.

Those are incredibly good pictures i must say!
I do agree with most comments, you are way overstocked and most of your plecos are not even fully grown yet. Get that bigger tank going and give those beautiful plecos more areas to swim around, i think alot of hobbyist will appreciate that.

I would agree with this. Very nice healthy looking fish tho. Make sure you have big enough tank and lots of places to hide.
