If the Brochis goes into the mouth of the Ae. He might eat them. From what You say, It sounds like the Ae. are going to spawn. And then I`m not sure this is a good connection

A few years ago i saw some VERY blue L-128. They was told to be wild.
Are there different multitude of blue, from different localities?

Anybody had babiès from these ? I think I maybee have ? Found today 2 youngs 1,5-2 cm in my 550L. But here goes other fish. 2,1 L-201, some mediumsize cichlids and some Corydoras aeneus. I have a friend who move them just before they hatch. I take what I can get, when they are hanging on the glas. It`s enough for me. I get about 40-50 everytime. And I move them whit a cup. No net. Before, when I thought it was importen to get hold on as many as possible. I tried to suck them out ...

Your sure right here "Raising Sturisoma fry takes a lot of work ".
But I will try this next time I`ve got babies. The have eggs all the time. And I think, maybe I must try to make the water a litle higher Ph ? How do You feed them the Spirulina powder ?

I`m feeding them. Spirulia powder and some driedfood mixed in eggwhite, after a recipe here in another tread. Many died in the summer, maybe the water was to warm. Later, when the 2 last hatch`s died. I thought I feed them too much. So now I`m feeding them a litle les, but now some dies from hunger ...

This was a very good idea to my sturisoma babies. But it only sticks on clay. I tried on glas but here it fall off very rapidly when it came into the water. But I have a question. Why only use the eggwhite? Why not the hole egg? I think there must be a lot off proteins in the yellow? Regards Roland ...
