Re: Ageneiosus marmoratus hammerhead catfish
I would only put these guys with the most passive of tankmates. I've lost a couple over the years because of aggression, usually at the hand of my cuban gars. My current marmoratus (roughly 10") lives solo.

Re: Plotosidae Catfish Availability
I don't know about the details of their export but anyone importing from that part of the world can get them. Mine came via Australian exports, but they can also be exported from Papua. Many are quite big fish and that seems more of a limiting factor than anything else.

Plotosidae Catfish Availability
Been wanting a member of this family of cats for a long time, but I've only found Plotosus lineatus for sale near me. At this time I have no intention to going back over to salt. So I'm wondering if anybody can provide any information about how these cats get into the hobby outside of Australia. I'm ...

Re: Cephalosilurus info
Batrochoglanis , Cephalosilurus , Lophiosilurus , and Pseudopimelodus yes. Microglanis not so much. I remember Lee Finley telling me, many years ago, a story about a four inch Pseudopimelodus that ate an eight inch Farlowella . The pseudopim spent several days digesting a bit, swallowing more ...

What species is a golden belly shark?
Hypsibarbus wetmorei, this is the local common name they are usually labelled as.
Eventually they will try to eat anything they are kept with. They will even kill themselves trying. I have seen pseudopims try to take fish twice their own size and then ...

Cephalosilurus info
I visited a local store today and was looking at what they had labelled as a Oremon Catfish. C. fowleri was what turned up for this common name, but from looking at the cat-e-log they might be C. apurensis.
