Help sexing L091

Can I get some input on the genders of my two largest L091? I can get a few more pics if needed. I know the head shape is important.

Re: Pure white L091

I'd absolutely love to see a white one. One of mine changed to a light brown color in the body after putting a light colored sand in the tank but I've never seen a white one.

Re: Got another dragon fin l091 today!!

I paid $60 which is what they usually go for around me. He's a bit smaller but I'm OK paying that for him because of his color. And yes that is the other one I have in the background.

Feeding meal worms or super worms to plecos?

Anyone ever try feeding meal and super worms to their plecos? I bought a bunch last week to use for fishing and still have a good bit left. I was thinking about feeding them to my leporacanthicus. Anyone know if it's a good or bad idea?

Re: Should I get l178?

How should their tank be setup? I'll probably quarantine them for a few weeks in my 20 gallon then move them to a 65. What temperature do they prefer? There wasn't much on the cat-elog for them.

Should I get l178?

There's a bunch of these at my LFS. I'm really tempted to get a few. I've never seen any lasiancistrus in my area. Can anyone give me some more details about the species?

L091 spawning behavior?

I'm really hoping this leads to something. These 2 have been doing this for a few weeks. I also noticed tonight they got in a small fight. It didn't seem like it was a very aggressive fight so maybe it was something with them spawning? https ...

Looking at it more the front of the dorsal and tail remind me of the orange and black on the triactus.

Just stumbled upon this incredible guy. Anyone have an idea of the species? I'm assuming leporacanthicus because of the "crest" on the head. Thanks guys.

Taking eggs from the father?

Its been awhile since my l007 vampires have spawned and on Dec 26th I saw a good size group of eggs in the one males cave. The last batch consisted of 32 young ones. Ive left the cave alone after seeing the eggs so the father wouldn't get scared and eat them. Well tonight I decided to look into the ...

Re: Repashy food?

I think I may order some this week and give it a try. I just need to figure out which food to get. How much food does the 12 oz actually make? I'm not too worried about spending a little more for good food I just don't want to need 12 oz for a single week of food.

Repashy food?

Does anyone use this food? I'm thinking about giving it a try but I'm curious if anyone else uses it and if there fish enjoy it. I'm not 100% sure which food I'm going to try yet. It's going to be fed to my l007 and probably my bristle nose. I also have a few geophagus I'll feed it to.

microglanis iheringi breeding

Has anyone had any success breeding these guys? I've got 5 right now and I'd like to set up a tank just for them and attempt to breed them. What size tank would be sufficient? Also how should I be set up? Thank you.
