Yes I keep a bare tank to make cleaning easier, as well I think it is easier for the fish to find the food I put in there. None of it falls down amongst the gravel to rot. I have a Hydro Sponge Filter #5 PRO with the reticulated foam as well as a Eheim 2028. I just had another clutch laid last ...
