Peckoltia Brevis - would it eat another pleco?
I have a tank that has a Peckoltia Brevis probably full grown, and it should also have a small 1.5-2inch bristlenose pleco. I havent seen the smaller pleco in the tank in a few days. The only other inhabitant is a clown pleco. Would the Brevis have eaten the smaller pleco without a trace?

The fish waste definitely provides nutrients to the plants to a degree, but there is still a fair amount of just physical mass that is not broken down as fast as it is produced. In my case (planted tank with seachem flourite for about a year) the waste did not drive up the nitrates fast enough for ...

100? Wow. Prolific little guys. I don't want to be constantly removing fry. Perhaps some species of Cory instead of the BNs, or maybe just1 bn and something else.

How about 1 or 2 green phantom plecos, 3-4 clown plecos, 3-4 BNs, and a pair of german blue rams in a planted 40g long?

Not to mention the cost difference. I dont know that I am ready to put that much cash into this tank. The room this is going to already has a 75 gal tank in it!

Uh oh, my mind is beginning to wonder... "Maybe if I just get a new 55gal, I can get some of the slightly larger species..."
