Re: New member from USA
Welcome Dantu,
I'm pretty new to the site also.
In the future I hope to have a colony of Cory's. My last go with Cory's was unsuccessful as my Discus kept killing them.
Anyway.....Goodluck with your Panda's!

Re: Frozen blood worms good or bad?
It's worth trying different brands of frozen bloodworm. IME the quality varies, some are rubbish. TMC's gamma bloodworm is the one I go for. I would agree with that. It's a bit more expensive but it has been irradiated (many of the cheaper ones have not) and you get nice firm bright red bloodworm ...

Re: Feeding Edamame?
My better half just purchased some edamame ( I haven't tried it yet)and I'm just curious if anyone here has fed it to your loricarids? If so, how did you prepare it for their consumption? I'm thinking of feeding it to my bristlenose. Yea, yea I'll try it eventually. :-O Just curious....Did you ever ...

Re: Frozen blood worms good or bad?
Generally speaking, I'd agree with MatsP Thanks for the input my Dutch friend! Off topic.....I spent 4 of the best years of my life living in the Netherlands although I wasn't into aquariums at the time. I know for Discus....the best wild's go to Europe and Asia and it looks like (from some of the ...

Re: Frozen blood worms good or bad?
Similarly, a small feeding of bloodworm mixed in with other appropriate food is not bad. But feeding too much can lead to digestion problems, because it is "too rich" - too much protein and not enough fiber. -- Mats Thanks for the input Mats! I think I'm going to supplement my feeding with frozen ...

Re: Red Whiptails(L10a) spawning
apistomaster, Pretty new to catfish and been checking out your L-134's & L-333's (Very nice!) but I decided to go with a group of bushy nose's. I figure BN's are more forgiving & definately less expensive. I've had my group of BN's for a week now and been feeding them fresh veggies & Hikari algae ...

Wow apistomaster,
You make breeding catfish seem easy.
Just curious but how often do you do water changes? And how much water do you change?
Thanks in advance,
Dennis
