Personally, I've never seen young sterbai with the stripe before, but it is conspicuous. Looks like someone in that tank has been putting their cloaca where it doesn't belong. :)) :)) Yes, this was my opinion too, but I heared that in no possible to have sterbai x axelrodi offspring so are them ...

I used to keep sterbai, weitzmani and axelrodi in the same tank without problems but now I got these young sterbai who get this band across the eye like axelrodi and weitzmani. Frank, can I ask you wich river first fish came from? Cause I have had the same L025 with few spot and I never discovered if it really came from Xingu as the full spotted type.
