Hi!
Yesterday I found new eggs (approx. 15)
Guarded by the same male in the same cave.
They are really busy for me at the moment
The 5 youngsters of the second batch are doing good.

Hello!
I just thought I`d share this picture of the L141 babies.
It was taken end of August 2012 (approx. 2,5cm in length)
Today they measure about 5-6.5cm
I will add some newer pictures soon.

Re: L239 eggs
Hi there! The eggs were hatched in an incubator as the first batch (in December) was eaten by the male fish. I know 5 fish from 18 eggs is not a high rate. Nevertheless I am happy. It was my first try with the incubator. I hope I can raise all five. @ Barbie: pictures coming tonight. Cheers, thanks ...

Hello!
Thanks for your messages!
They confirm my thoughts.
I just asked because in the net I see many breeding articles and fry-pictures of L7.
Information about L29 is rather rare.

Now after 3.5 weeks of doing nothing, just feeding, they made me happy :d I love this species. I find it quite simple in "coloration" but so beautiful. Water ...

Re: Spectracanthicus murinus fry
Hello!
I still have one fry in a small growout tank installed in the main tank.
Today I started feeding my single fry with smashed plankton tabs & cyclops.
You can already see the white-yellow stripe on the dorsal as well as on the caudal fin.
greetings,
hannes
