I'm looking for the Mottled Whiptail Banjo Catfish . I'll take ANY size. Preferrably a dark morph male but I'll take what I can get.

The danios will be fine. Most Banjo catfish wont actively hunt fish or even pounce on ones that get close. The only banjos that are any worry are the Platystacus cotylephorus (eel tail mottled banjo catfish) they grow to over a foot so theyll take fish. But you'll probably have a Bunocephalus so ...

The banjos are always a good edition though. Have you considered Atyopsis shrimp species?(specifically Atyopsis moluccensis) theyre colorful and too large for a normal banjo (Bunocephalus/Dysichthys) to eat.
