I have about 10 of these little gems. They are really fun little creatures. I keep them in a 100lit tank and the feeding frenzie when I feed is incredible. I found a couple of small fry in the tank the day before yesterday! So they seem to be pretty easy to breed. I will now set up the tank just for ...

I don´t have that exact tests but they seem to breed in almost everything. the first time was when I had missed my weekly waterchange for two weeks  . When I was changing water and shaked a big anubias a big cluster of eggs fell out and I managed to save some of them before the rest of the f ...

Hi, The Panaque are indeed fond of BacktoNature modules and all other things they can chew pieces of. We had one in our store that changed the colour of an entire BtN background in a couple of weeks. So at night you sometime hear them gnawing on it. But it seems as long they have roots(lots of it ...

Hi again! Well, tried to feed them frozen cyclops and they loved it! Will try to get the little buggers on picture, but they are just as fast moving as their parents... I have only taken one almost watchable picture of the eggs so far you will find them in this gallery: http://www.zoonen.com ...

Breeding Tatia galaxias
Hi! Does anyone here have any experience with Tatia galaxias? Or maybe has bred them? Mine are laying eggs all the time. :D They seem to like a big Anubias plant I recently planted in the tank. The female lays a big cluster of eggs inside it, looks almost like frogeggs. I saved some of them to a ...

Of course not. They grow up to 30cm in length. They swim almost all the time. With that in mind dont you think that 125 lit. is a bit small? The ones we keep are always on the move. We have never seen them harming another fish intentionally. But when feeding they are quite violent. Accidents can ...

They have been in the tank for at least 4 months and have been eating all the time. They seem to prefer Golden gate artemia which is consumed with enormous apetite. Do you really think that they may still have gillflukes after this time? They seem fine in everything but colour. As you (maybe) can ...

Well, they are far from perfect but I will hopefully learn to handle my camera in time... http://www.zoonen.com/perzoonen/galleri.asp?oid=179007&gid=179009 The ones that are almost totally black seem to keep their colour(that is about 5 of 10) . As far as I have read before they are all ...

Magnum4: Well the centromochlus was quite hard to come by from the order and up to final delivery it took over 9 weeks and numerous mails and phonecalls. Peru is a strange country... :? Over here we can get Tatia galaxias from breeders down in east Europe but they are not even close to the perugiae ...

Hi Well at last I joined as well. Have been visiting for quite some time and finally did it. I work with aquarium fish every day so I have been able to get a few of my favourites. The problem for me is as I guess it is for many of us - space. There is never enough room for my tanks - or the tanks ...
