he said he only had L082 and LDA 31. when he saw the pics, he said 082 opal spot instantly.

i ran into the seller at the OcA extrav today. He said its a L082.

the color in the photois pretty true. and again largest is about 4 1/2 inch (male?)tip to tip, the other two are a bit smaller, 3 1/2 to 4 in ( females?). So if i get this right you think its a Hypancistrus contradens?

i need help to id this pleco, please help. i bought 3 of these a year ago, they were about 2 1/2 in. Now they are about 4 1/2inch. black with gold spots. have been this size for a while. they dont come out in the open often, hard to photo. Thanks Jason
