Re: Pseudacanthicus serratus on eggs.
After an epic battle with dealing with a fungus infested batch of eggs and the male eating far to many of them i took the eggs and thankfully i have two survivors.

Pseudacanthicus serratus
Hi everyone, here's some photos i took recently of the serratus i keep. This is one of two pairs in my fish house. This pair are roughly 29 cm. The other pair are a little bigger.
Happy for the photos to be used for the profile if needed.

Re: New Peckoltia species from the Rio Negro.
These are the only 3 fish known so far and yet to be described or given an L number. I've had them since April. I bought 4. The one that died is in the freezer waiting to be sent of to a certain person.

Hypancistrus L499 spawn. (1st captive breeding I think?)
More or less a year after getting this group thy have finally spawned for me.
These fish were given an "L number" about 6 months a go roughly. Really chuffed with this.
They spawned about 4 weeks ago. I will keep you updated with more pictures but here's some fry pictures so far.

Re: Ranking of best pH meters, April 2016
I had recently bought a ph pen as i was just interested in seeing what the "true" ph of my water (rain water) actually was. In reading these comment had made me feel ten thousand times better as i almost had a heart attack seeing 4.5 on my "new £13 ph pen" that was obviously a buy on soooo many ...

Here is my step by step guide into making your own clay caves.
I want to say thanks to my two friends Bean and Martin as together we have made caves for the past couple of years. Many "cave nights" with trial and error of different techniques until we were happy with the out come of the caves.

Peckoltia Braueri
This will be my first attempt in breeding the Peckoltia Braueri. I have recently put my pair into their own tank. Both look in good condition. If anyone has had succes with breeding these it would be great to hear from you.
Thank you

New tank project. Your thoughts and ideas please?
Hello everyone. I bought these two amazing tanks a few weeks ago and I'm thinking of getting these set up soon but I'm not sure how to have them. I'm thinking of having them flowing into one another by putting one slightly over hanging the other to make a wier. It would be great to hear peoples ...

Thanks Mark
I have a group of 11 adults and always looking to add to the group. I am willing to swap adults or young with other 174 keepers. We must do as much as possible to ensure the safety of this fish and make sure we never loose this fish.
