Thanks for the response. These things just keep getting bigger nad BIGGER, OMG. Also, I lost anoth, my last anyways, guppy. Came home one day last week and, poof, gone. No signs of a struggle anyways. LOL.

The fish is short, about 3 inches. Has a snout, like an ant eater. Tan in color, and stays on the bottom all the time.

Ok, then what is a safe way to handle these fish? Not that we plan on doing it alot. Also what is roughly the life span on a typical catfish?

Thanks for the replies. Great info. On the subject of snacking on smaller fish, is it ok to give them these fish as a treat? I don't want to sound barbaric, but would it be ok to put say a few neon tetras in there for them to snack on? Wouls I run the risk of them only wanting to feed on live food ...
