feel the need to explain myself.
Not entirely sure why i'm writing this but here goes. I feel the need to explain myself, Ive been keeping (what was considered exotic) catfish since I was 17. I'm way old now. Most of the stuff thats available now was considered very rare in the 80's and early 90's (and vice versa). The people who ...

They can be very nervous and if frightened will crash into the glass breaking that lovely snout.
Try not to stamp around them.

Re: Mystus leucophasis
Yeah, not sure if it was one of mine or not, a lot of my fish did go to friends over the years which is why we thought it might have been, the rancor has had a about 3 different owners, probably. Its definitely old tho, and I did once have a knack of picking up oddballs in the most unlikely places ...

Mystus leucophasis How long could you expect one of these to live? My friend has one "the Rancor" thats about (we think) 20 something. Is that even possible? We cant remember if it was one of mine or not. If so, it would be about 23-24 years old! Blimey. I wish I could remember where all my catfish ...

Re: Sick Albino Walking Catfish
Sorry to hear about your sick cat. I have had one that had those symptoms, it was a long time ago tho and my memory is a bit hazy. Walking cats usually just escape if they dont like the water, not much can stop them either. You didnt say how big they were? Test kits are all very rubbish so ammonia ...

I may be talking to myself here, or preaching to the converted. Anyway, short description of what I have found and details of avalability. I have been experimenting with some high output led's for a while now but recently the technology has moved on a bit. It seems led's may replace conventional ...

Looking much better, but I noticed that your plants in the rear corners appear to be in shade. Thanks, It may look like its shady but its just a trick of the camera. Ive had to turn the exposure way down cos the silica sand reflects a lot and overexposes the whole shot. Those are cryptocoryne (i ...

Hi, Cory people! Yeah, I dont know anything about cory's so thats why I'm here. Just set up a very small planted tank and was wondering if any of the pygmy cory species would be suitable. If not its gonna have to be shrimp. It is very small, 50cmx30cmx30cm. Again scuse my ignorance, I think its too ...

So there's at least one loser here.
