Bit of an update, finally got around to installing some lighting and putting a shelf up above the tank! Lighting is 2 cheap celing lights from ikea each with 35w directional halogen bulbs mounted on the shelf above. I quite like the yellowish colour the halogens give the tank but I have replacement ...

very nice waaaay better looking then the pirate theme
