Re: Panda cories spawned... on rocks!
Yannick i don't try to raise large numbers, and C.Panda have eggs with >98% hatching rate so i'm happy with what i get left from them. - i've used 2-3 spawing mops but still found egss eaten in the mops , i've seen that keeping the fish very well feeded (especialy with live tubi) will reduce the ...

Re: Panda cories spawned... on rocks!
Pablo , 10-15 eggs usually also, depends on some factors like age of fish , food they get , how many fish in the tank , my C.Panda group, ( witch i keep alone as all the cory i try to bread) , are terrible egg eaters , the fish that don't participate in the spawning , are busy munching on them ...

Re: Panda cories spawned... on rocks!
it's to complex to predict when they will spawn again , (factors like : food , age , water change , atm pressure, etc), you can try to trigger them or let them do their thing. for easier eggs colection you can use a spawing mop . i use some anubias floating plants ,and my Corydoras Panda like to ...

Re: Trying to identify illness on Corys, white fungus-like?
wellcome to planetcatfish. from the pictures with Corydoras Panda i would definitely say it's an external parasite ! you should try to identify what type of parasite so you can chose the proper medicamentation. JBL has Gyrodol Plus and Aradol Plus for external parasite infections. i would also try ...

Re: C. Similis spawing
a small update. it took me 3 spawing to learn how to raise the fry past the 4 weeks barrier . in my case they where more dificult to raise compared with the C.Panda fry. what i finde out by trial and error is that an "hands off aproach " works better . the water changes where made trough a small air ...

Re: Breeding Panda Corys
Hi Darren , congrats for the spawing . i'be been keeping/breeding a small group of C.Panda in a colony tank for an year now . they usualy spawn every 2-3 months, the usual triggers works on them : a cooler water change , a drop in air pressure, lots of blood worms in they're diet . They are also ...
