Re: Synodontis granulosus fry purchase
I purchased 5 from Discus Madness and one from Trins Tropicals. I was worried they weren’t going to be able to compete for food because I put them in my tank with my synodontis grandiops that are twice the size of the granulosus. No need to worry. They eat first by swimming upside down and skimming t ...

Very cool. Thanks so much for the update. I'm sure I'm not alone in saying we all enjoy seeing the updates and see how your tank and fish are doing after all these years. I've followed this thread since the beginning and it's nice to see it's still going strong.

Synodontis granulosus fry purchase
I was finally able to afford 6 granulosus fry at a time they were available. I couldn’t get any great shots of them in the water but did get a few of them out of the water as I transferred them from shipping bags to their new tank. The first photo is from the seller. 4402AB8F-E037-4D88-9520-4 ...

Re: Bald-faced synodontis eupterus cats
I agree with Viktor on the cleaners. I had several synos with patches that lost color and finally narrowed it down to a chemical or cleaner having oversprayed into the tank. I did a complete water change and they healed up after a couple of weeks.

Some Nice Ceramic Cats
Was browsing the interwebs and found these cats on etsy. I can't get them here in the states or I would definitely pick up 1 or 2 for myself.

WTB Synodontis Granulosus
Just putting a feeler out seeing if someone might have seen a granny or 2 they'd be willing to part with. I haven't seen any available in a long time. Just looking to add more to my group of 3.

Possible Error in Book Review
I was looking through reviews trying to find a new book to purchase when I came to Corydoras Catfish by Burgess and there is no review. Is it supposed to be this way or has the review been lost?

I focus so much on Synodontis that I forget there are big cat lovers on the site too Viktor. The people who recorded this video footage also did Jewel of the Rift.Viktor Jarikov wrote:Majestic filming. There is some Clariidae featured too.

Thought I'd share this one as it has quite a bit of interesting footage on Synodontis in the wild. I believe these are Synodontis acanthomias.

Re: 20 gallon breeding tank?
Agreed on Eisenia fetida being fed to Synodontis. They eat them up without hesitation. I can understand why a fish with a smaller mouth may not care for them because they seem to be hard to break off into small pieces. My Mbuna fishes from lake Malawi will eat them also.
