There was recently a similar case in a certain aquarium related forum. The assumed parasite was actually a male genital papillae.. I'm going for biotope-type setting with this tank. So it would be highly appreciated if someone could provide some info on that habitat-question, especially should I decorate the tank mainly with wood or rocks/slate?

Do you have the loaches in that 90l tank that is way overstocked with those other cats (referring to the other thread)? If so, there is nothing you can do besides frequent waterchanges. Reducing the load in the tank by cutting down feeding is also an option but it ofcourse means fewer fish. (If you ...

Personally i would go with eheim 2260 or two of those and two 2252 internals. And add a powerhead if more current is preferred. The 2260 circulates around 2400l/h and has filter capacity of 18 litres. 2252 has worked great (at least for me) at collecting that small debris in the water and producing ...
