Tailfin shape on both specimens are a perfect match, also the coloration and size of the eyes.

Well Mats... The smaller 8,3 cm female is bought as wild caught L333, the larger 10,9 cm male is of unknown origin but bought (in shop) as L333. Some have ID'd them as L401 and I've been thinking.. back and forth.. L333 or L401..?. leaning more towards L401... I kept these in a 720L discus/altum ...

Thank you very much for your opinions, it's been very helpfull! :thumbsup: I've been told on other forums that the first pic is a 401, just as you guys say. I don't know the origin of the fish, if it's captive bred or not. The second, smaller cat is sold as wild caught L333 and that is probably true ...

Can anybody help me find out what they really are?
Both are bought as L333 but I'm not quite sure about if this is correct...
Pic #1 bought as male - 10cm (4") TL
Pic #2 bought as female - 7,5cm (3") TL
Pic #3 same fish as #2

No, it's not a Gibbi for sure. This one is striped, Gibbi is spotted.

Thanks all. That's exactly what I suspected.. some kind of Pterygoplichthys. My wife bought this pleco at the local pet store a couple of months ago. Seller claimed it was an ancistrus juvenile. In the end it clearly showed up to be a pleco fry.. and I don't want to have any foot long monsters in my ...
