Hi! First I'd like to thank planetcatfish for the invaluable information it has provided all these years. I got a breeding group of rineloricaria microlepidogaster (i think) and they have bred for the first time, using techniques i read from here. Second, will farlowella species crossbreed? I have 3 ...

On another note, since we are into Peruvian plecos, some more questions Jools (and the other experts), hope you don't mind: 1. What's the difference between the L203 and L90? "Papa panaques" are readily available here in Manila, but I haven't seen a true L90, the white tail panaque. Do the L90a and ...

"Carachama Amarilla"
This fish was taken from a tank with Aphanotorulus frankei, and peckoltia. The supplier gets his fish from Peru. I'm not sure if "carachama amarilla" referred to the frankei, this fish was the last remaining piece of its kind in the container. The mouth is spoon shaped, like a panaque. http ...

35 kinds I think, sizes ranging from almost a foot to 3-4 inches, spread among three tanks: 180 gallons, 75 gallons and 50 gallons. Maintenance is a real chore but it's ok :D I plan to get more "long" plecs, if I get to have a source... the normal plecos usually just hide the whole day, you wouldn't ...

Thanks for the replies. The "goldline" appears to be the one from Xingu because the younger fish has those red pectoral fins, and the red color vanishes as the fish matures. Yann, the L90s could be just one or two variants of the same species of fish, and not many as I initially thought. I see some ...

Different Panaques
HI guys I'm not really sure if this is the right forum, but I need help identifying my Panaques.
I have a handful, and I have been fairly successful in growing out some of them..
I know the experts here can shed light on some of the "L90s" in the site below... Thanks!
