Thanks Eric. Always nice when a plan comes together even if it took a very long time . The young certainly are very cute.

My flash plecos (L204) have finally bred
After many years trying my flash plecos Panaqolus albivermis have finally bred.
The spawn was unexpected as they were young fish and I had been trying to breed them for over 10 years.
Nice to finally get a result and there is another very fat female so hopefully its not the last spawn.

Breeding log images are stacked vertically
Hi. I have just noticed that if I go to my breeding log all images are stacked vertically rather than horizontally by species.

Not able to update images in breeding report
Hi,
I have tried on two occasions to update images in separate breeding reports. While I seem to be able to do it, the breeding log retains the original image.
cheers
Darren

Re: L183 confusion
Thanks Racoll. Nice to know that the original description of Ancistrus dolichopterus has 8 or 9 branched (soft) rays.
So a range of 8-10, but normally 9, as in the German website seems reasonable. It seems like a reasonable idea to update the species page to reflect this.

L183 confusion
Hi. Recently the importers in New Zealand have imported starlight plecos. Nice fish but they are only about 3.5 - 4 cm. While they look like L183 some have 8 soft dorsal rays and some 9. When I look at the PC blog for this species it says they have '9' soft rays but when I look in the L-catfishes ...

Re: Registered keepers have disappeared
Hi Eric and Jools. Thanks for the clarification on the registered keepers. Yes I can now see that they are all there but hidden and it makes sense to hide them for commonly kept species. It still says I am the only keeper of each species under the 'my fish' page but it sounds like this is being ...

Registered keepers have disappeared
Hi, When I was editing a species I am keeping in the 'my fish' section it says I am the only keeper of all my species!!! I then had a look at a few of the pleco species sheets for species I am keeping and it says there are xxx keepers but doesn't list them and it asks if I would like to add that ...

Almost there on the plecos but I thought I could see 6 . I must have been counting a fin and an eye from one of the 4. Nice work on the L397's.
