Word of warning - I used to feed my Tatia Perugiae with a feeding cone until 1 of them got their pectoral fin stuck and died overnight.

Re: L200 help
I forgot to measure the lengths of them before I put them back in the tank #-O I will measure the internal diameter of the bucket when I get home tonight, but I would think 7 to 8". The only reason I had them out of their tank is that I was changing the pea gravel over to sand so I though I would ...

Sorry for late reply - still not wanting to ship them as I've never done it before. (certainly wouldn't send them overseas)
I have moved them to my brothers tank for now so they are still available

Re: Jaguar Cat dropping eggs
Bad news - All the eggs had fungus all over them tonight when i checked them, and they were all infertile.
So at least have a female, will try to get photos of the other one to see what sex it is - that won't be easy.

Re: Jaguar Cat dropping eggs
Well on that guidance I have been back in the tank and discovered loads more eggs which I have put into a nursey inside teh main tank. The unbelievable thing was that the 2 jag cats were croaking like mad as I was netting the eggs. BIG appology to moderators if I am posting pics incorrectly I am ...

Re: Jaguar Cat dropping eggs
There is another Jag in the tank but I don't know if its male or female as they have always hidden in their bogwood homes. The eggs are about 3mm diameter, some are fully clear but others have white swirls inside them

Jaguar Cat dropping eggs
Just got in from work to find my jaguar cat in the open with the lights on (never seen this before). After watching it for a while I noticed 'her' twitching/ shuddering her tail and releasing eggs (similar way to Salmon in rivers). The eggs are big - really big and they are allover the tank.

Yes thats feet - I know of a fair few people who keep breeding pairs in tanks this size then remove the eggs into other tanks (not that I am arguing with you) I will have a re-think about them .............. would any earth eaters be ok in a tank that size ? if not I would probably just end up ...

C*****D question
Sorry about this but I not in any other forums and I am at a loss .......... I have had a female Rotkeil Se*erum for quite a while now so I introduced a wild male 3 weeks ago to hopefully get them to breed. Initially she beat him up so he would hide all the time, anyway 3 days ago he must have ...

Re: Caves sizes
Sorry if this has been discussed elsewhere but I have a couple of questions.......
what type of clay do you use (manufacturer) ?
does the clay cave (once constructed) require a blast in an oven
I have 4 L200's and they have no specific caves in their tank - loads of bogwood/ coconuts etc
cheers
