Re: Synodontis lucipinnis pictures
I had to sell them because I was moving to a new home and didn´t knew when it was possible setting up a new aquarium.
And yes Birger, they are a very interesting and attractive species to keep in a Tanganyika community tank.

Albino with dark spots.
this albino male is undergoing a process of "repigmentation" in some parts of his body. His father was albino and also had a similar process. Has anyone seen anything like this in one of its Ancistrus ? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v220/francistrus/repigmentacion.jpg http://img.photobucket.com ...

Re: Hemiloricaria or Rineloricaria?
Acanthicus, The fish were bought in a store whose provider may bring them from the Czech Republic. Shane, I thought about that species, but I had doubts. The color made me a bit clueless, specially the ventral pattern: on my fish it´s totally white. I´ll try to take a picture of the belly (it´s har ...

A. hoplogenys?
A friend of mine is moving, so he gave me some of his cats. I want to identify this Ancistrus. It resembles hoplogenys to me. What do you think? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v220/francistrus/hoplo4.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v220/francistrus/hoplo3.jpg http://img.photobucket.com ...

Otos ID.
Yesterday I`ve purchased four Otocinclus in a local shop. I think three of them are the same species, but the 4th i think it´s a O. vittatus, because of the different tail patern. Here´s the "vittatus". http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v220/francistrus/otovit.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v ...

I´ve got 4 individuals, and I think they´re L-129, but they could be L-270... The salesman told me that they were sent from Colombia.
