The Panaque looks like P. schaeferi. This is a very large panaque and there is no way it could have had fry at the current size.
What else is in the tank with them?

Re: help sexing L183
Ok one male hahaha
Generally male grow long bristles and females don't.
In saying this females may grow a couple around their lip but not going up the nose.
Females aren't Squishy as the squishiness comes from the bristle growth,

Re: Nice new Royal :)
None of them look like our normal L190. The two on the right side of the bucket have very thin and close together stripes, which isn't normal for Panaque nigrolineatus as far as I knew. I will have to wait for them to show themselve to get another pic of the nose to see if it is longer then usual ...

Re: L-128 tail filaments?
Simply looks to me like the tail has split giving the appearance of a filament. This can happen easily and if it is the dominant plec then quite possible. It should close back up and heal if it is a split.
How long has it been like this for?

Re: L-260 or L-411?
I would say L-260 as the black lines/area is thicker than the white lines.
The L411 tends to have an even size between the black and white

Hey David
What sand is that you have in there?
Goldies are looking good.
Did the colour change much once they were on a light coloured sand?

Thats what I was thinking but some of the pics in Cat-elog are a little confusing.
Which Panaque would you say had the greenish colour (not L191)?
