i guess it is genetic problem den. you should toggle around with a variety of foods for it den. so it will not grow bored. maybe a night crawler once in a while will be nice. i do feed it to my RTC as well. Hope he does well. he will be happy when he gets to swim in his 1100 G pond !!

Usually the barbels grow back over a period of 6 - 9 months. It would be nice if u could keep it alone jus to be sure he does not get attacked agn.

I recently bought a RTC and i am having doubts if it will outgrow the tank it is in. Will they outgrow the tank or will the confined space stop the growth of the fish. Thanks for any info given!!
