I have found Camallanus Worms in my young plakats. http://i512.photobucket.com/albums/t329/jo3oakley/IMG_0556-1.jpg I have been treating the Betta in a small ...

Re: New Cory needs help
Thank you JoeO
I will try to get some pics of them,
I have found that the parents have become more recluse.
I hope they will get used to me and not hide so much.
My albinos are always around looking for food.
Is it true that the albinos dint see as well thats why they just hang around?

Re: New Cory needs help
I am very pleased to say that all three are doing so well that,
I found two Kits today
they are still in the quarantine tank.
I so happy that they are happy.
I didn't dream that they would try and breed in a 15 inch tank.
The adults are still very shy, the Kits are out and about all the time.

I have a bag of whole shells about the size of a five cent piece
or smaller, I have only put a few in.
How much should I use?

Cory's and salt
I have read thar Cory's don'y like salt,
yet my local lfs thinks its OK?
can you add ant salt to Cory's water?
Would I be better of moving my Guppies into another tank
and treating them with salt?

New Cory needs help
I have been given three small Bronze Corys, I noticed one of them has very reddish pink barbells on the left side. Could this little fish have an injury or infection? I didn't want to take any pics tonight as they got stressed out being caught by the previous owner, who is new to fish. He got them ...

Re: What kind of Tandan is this?
I had not thought about some exotic problem being introduced into the native water stream. All the Dams on my parents home run into a lovely seasonal creek and I think the water way has enough problem with farm chemical run off and drought as it is. I dint plan to get rid of these guys for a long ...

Re: What kind of Tandan is this?
I have already started to save and look around at the next tank for them. I don't know if an Ozzie Zoo would be to interested in them. I could contact a Wild life sanctuary latter down the track. I live within the natural range of the Tandanus tandanus and have read that some Ozzie's have let the go ...

Re: Which part of the world are you from?
I am form Glenormiston South Australia
I live in dairy country
I started keeping fish again after being told to give up horses once more.
I am breeding Bettas and had my first cat fish given to me 4 common BN males
I still have them, I fell in love
