Re: L075 & L200

I have a 7" L75 and a 6" L200 in a 48" X 24" tank together with a small L66, some cories and some tetras, they get along fine, each occupying their own drift wood. I'd also seen them being kept together in fish shops, don't think there's any issue as long as the tank is large enough

Re: Corydoras serratus' BABY

希望您可以幫助我 :D :D thot I'll attempt to translate Mr Rose's self intro... for the benefit of those who dun speak the language I've always felt th ...

Re: I can't keep them alive...

I had similar problems with shrimps, but that was due to the tank temperature...

Re: Bristlenose Genetics

Barbie,
actually your experience could also mean that the long fin genes is recessive, i.e. the short fin parent could have a recessive long fin gene :foggie:

I've tried keeping panda cories a couple of times in the last few years and they never survived beyond a few months. This breed seemed to have become very week as a result of commercial breeding.

I'd raised a few batches of sturisomas before, they were fed mainly on Sera Spirulina, mixed with a little Sera Viformo and Tetra Tabimin, feeding started after the egg sac's fully absorbed. Hikari algae wafer was fed when the fries were about a month old. Survival rate's more than 75%.

I have a l200, a l137, a l14, a l75 and a l66 in the same tank as my 10 discus. They pretty much leave the discus alone but I don't think the discus appreciate the squabbling among the plecos during feeding time.

I've raised the temperature, the fish's still not eating.
Will follow your advise and place the food nearer to the hiding place

It takes time, mine was quite secretive initially, only dashing out briefly when food was given at nite and immediately dashing back to its hideout when I approached. It got much bolder after I shifted it into my pl*co/dicus tank. It now comes out for brief excursions even during the day :D It ...

The tank temperature is about 77 F, don't have the readings for the rest though. I've been changing about 10%-20% of the water everyday. I knew it didn't touch the food cos the 2-3 bloodworms (and the little wafer) I threw in every nite remained untouch the next morning. It was hiding between 2 ...

L46

Hi, Bought a 2 inch L46 a couple of 4 days ago. It looked very healthy, good fins, stomach not sunken. It's now quarantined (alone) in a 10 gallon tank with some drift wood. Since I got it, it had not touch the food I threw in (frozen bloodworm, wafers). Started to get a little concern since I lost ...
