Re: An attempt to breed Channel cats.
in my days at university studying fisheries, iand with my time building water features i would say that yes you can do it. feed them a lot, some meaty foods if possible, such as worms and fish. a medium sized barrel would work well. and sometime in early spring do a massive water change. the cool ...

Re: HELP!!! With my Albino Cory Cat fry!
the bubbles are likely from overfeeding, as are the worms, or whatever else. for cory cat babies, finely crushed flake food is fine. the larger granule stuff they cant fit in their mouths, so it wont be eaten and will foul the tank. at this point do daily water changes of about 30-50% and cut back ...

Re: Species/breeding aquarium
i would get the fish from the same place in this instance....these small plecos are easy to misidentify, and you may end up with the wrong fishes, and not have a pair or group of P. maccus. fyi, the specific name of the fish as written in the scientific name, you do not capitalize the second ...

Re: What fish are okay in a bn pleco breeding aquarium?
most any nano fish would be fine. no anabantids (gouramis) and cory cats would be ok as well. most things wont bully the pleco for the eggs, but they may eat the fry, but the cory cats and most small tetras woudnt bother the fry

i think paleatus as well. ive seen many that dark....it could be something else, the clues and more information would help - where did you get it? what was in the tank with it? if you got it at any type of chain store its almost 100% a paleatus...they dont do variety. if it was a local fish store, a ...

Re: 6 days and still not hatched (peppered cory)
the temp at 75 is a bit low, but i would thik they would have hatched by now. i have heard of folks having trouble with the egg shells being too tough..usually in hard water...try to gently roll the egg and see if you can break the shell....thats all i can say

Re: CORYDORAS ROBINEAE - My successful hormonal spawning
