Cory ID please
The cory in question is at 12-30 seconds on the vid. Was sold to me as Sterbai, but I dont think so. I know they should have sand, but they are about 2 years in this tank and seem to do ok and enjoy foraging in the pebbles.

Re: Pepper in HD
Thanks. I just figured he was so much bigger than the rest. He is almost 3", and the smaller ones are all over him sometimes.
Here is a vid with my old camera where they were going nuts one day.

Messing around with a new camera. The macro mode is excellent, especially for around $100. Kodak Zi8.

Is this breeding behavior?
I have six Pepper cories in my 75g. Two are rather large and four smaller. Recently the smaller ones started chasing the larger ones. Is this breeding behavior? I am familiar with SA/CA Cichlid breeding but noy Cories. There are many small caves. Do they use caves? Do they choose one partner or a ...

Thanks for the ID.
Yeah, my other tanks with cories have sand. This is my old school tank. I'm sure they will appreciate it when the sand goes in soon.
Thanks again...Bill

Catfish sting?
I was cleaning my tank and felt a sharp pain in my finger. Tank inhabitants are a pair of Apistogramma Jutai, A dozen Neons, 3 cory habrosus, and a little akysis cat. Pain was really bad and lasted at least 3 hours. Finger was throbbing. No obvious signs of trauma. No wound, redness. Only a little ...

Re: Glyptothorax sp. ‘gold & red’ ??
Good call NV. The sand is not as white as the pic shows. I think I will move it to my fry tank.
The tank it eventually will go in has a dark sand and lots of rocks and caves. Just afraid it might get eaten as small as it is.
Thanks...Bill

Glyptothorax sp. ‘gold & red’ ??
I am getting one of these today. I am getting it to keep in my unheated 75g with my Gymnogeophagus Cichlids. Is this an appropriate mix? It is supposed to be a dwarf catfish. Tanks has sand with driftwood and smooth river rock. I also have some cories in the tank Anything else special I should know ...

This was sold as an Agassizii. Does not look like pics I see. Do you think it is an Agassizii or something else. http://i453.photobucket.com/albums/qq257/zz430t56/fish120.jpg And this one was sold as a Punctatus. It looks more like an Agassizii to me. http://i453.photobucket.com/albums/qq257 ...
