What will stabilize the pH? Calsium of natriumbikarbonat?

My pH is low. Its under 6,2. Is it possible that the root is the cause of this low pH?

My tap water have pH on 7,0. But just after a few days its going down. The root is a Mangroove root.

Here you have the root i the tank. Not perfect, but the fish enjoys it, believe me.
