Certainly Trilineatus are being commercially bred in Asia and are being widely circulated.

At present we ( as a retailer ) are obtaining small ones and medium sized fish but at the same time wild caught adults are still being imported .

We have been obtaining the farm bred fish for about 18 months.

As an owner of a retail shop I would agree completely that the situation with Czech syno hybrids is really worrying for all of us. I still believe , through experience of the numbers offerred to us the importers and retailers, that they are very scarce. a Brazilian exporter that I use is usually a good source for Zebras. there are none available this week. if he had them why wouldn't he offer some even if they were at a very ...

Well I know that everyone thinks that we retailers are totally profiteering from Zebras , but the truth is that they are very difficult to get from my point of view. We normally order them so that we always have 10 - 20 in stock. That tends to mean ( 25 or 26 in a box )that when we are down to 6 or ...

As a matter of interest, I was told many years ago that gammarus are extremely handy for hatching eggs !! Basically they are reputed to consume fungus preventing eggs from being overwhelmed by it. At the same time they don't harm the eggs. Personally I have never tried it, but maybe someone here has ...

Hi, Assuming that the tank is not too overstocked, or unless the tank is in a very cold location for a power cut of this length of time the only thing you may need to do is arrange some air supplies from battery air pumps ( which are always handy to have)into airstones to assist the oxygen exchange ...

There seems to be a general yellowish tinge to the picture. Is it the lighting, wood or my imagination ?

Do the spots look yellow to you in the tank?
