If your talking about common plecos don't worry, they don't eat meat, they only eat vegi, and plant matter!

They get to 12" in a large tank, but will only reach their full potential 18+...yes "+", if they are housed in a literally monster tank, like 500+,they will obviously get that large in the wild tho. I have done a similar thing with young sun cats when trying to catch them, but didn't use a net, or bait, I just kinda tried to grab both ends when he went in before he got out...I got stung. :lol: BTW can fetherfins and sun cats get along? :?: and do you have anyways of catching a female yellow lab ...

I have a sun cat and a bumblebee cat in my current tank and strangely, 2 rainbow sharks, and some plecos.

I got some plant fertalizer from petsmart today called nutrafin plant gro. If anyone knows how often you are suposed to use it, PLEAS let me know.

WOW! that's prety crazy. The only ting thats ever juped out of my tank and survived was 2 JackDempsys, they wer only out for 1/2 an hour thoe. Use a clean rag and wipe down your drift wood, also remoove the gravil and stomp on it(this kills the snails and provides your fish with a treat, or you can use a colender and rinse out the remains). definetly change your water, wash your tank, and rinse of the wood very well(bleach is a chemicle ...
