I bought two pakistan loaches abount 2 months ago. Does driftwood cause the same problems og fungus? i think i'd go for it if it doesnt. Also I realized i need more light in my aquarium, d double of what I have in watts, would a reflector b good enough, or do I have to change light tube?

It happened to me as well, and i just lost patience, my boogwood is at the moment in d garage gathering up dust. In fact, what type of wood could i use that won't give me thi fungus problems. I have a freshwater community tank, it still in its 4th month so not yet really ready.

I'm a beginner when it comes to live plants, i have 4 types in my aquarium, and nearly all of them have brownish dot on the leaves, were do i find good info about plant, i'd like a well planted tank.

Hi all, I have 2 pakistan loaches. I give them sinking tablets, not a whole one a quater a day, in the morning and blood worms or shrimp in d evening. Thank Spiny a lot of usefull information u gave me there. My tank is not densley planted, at least not yet. I only have 2 mall caves, and i am treating a piece of bigg boogwood. Do you thing i should go for more caves instead of bogwood, i'm planning to do a communtiy tank.

I just bought 2 pakistan loaches. Will they harm my plants? and my ph is 7.5, and on some sites that i found , 6-7 was recommended,will they adapt?

Is the clown loatch a Botia?

I took a look at a site with an index if loaches, and off all of them i like the clown loatch best, even tough i don't reallllyyyyy like him.

I have a 60 litre, i'm buying only two, will they b happy, and will they grow very large in a tank this size?

pls could u give me names of puffers and loaches, besides clown loatch bec i dont like d way he grows, too big. And since the aquarium is not cycled well , only been running 4 2 weeks, something, hardy would b better i think.

So here's d problem, My aquarium has been rolling for 2 weeks, have a black molly to cycle d tank,and planted some plants, its my 1st time with real plants. Underneath d gravel i have fertilizer, i feed d molly names nera, twice a day,she eats everything,and leave d light on for 8 hours minimum ...

Lol Magnium,don't come on this mass of concrete, only the wheather is nice believe me!!!! No I haven't seen the site. I found a bit of info about the type of plants,and the type of water they need, and light. But none that tells me about fertilizer pelets and stuff.The only thig i did for them ...

hi magnum,

The temperature is 28 @ the moment , i'm not using a heater yet. Air pump, i only have the one that came with the pump. And plants i have a lot , even tough its my first time with live plants, and by d looks of it i still have a long way to succese.lol.
