hey i have a juwel rio 400 and i'm planning on taking the internal filter out this weekend and replace it with my new eheim 2028 and i was wondering what to do with the heaters as they currently sit in the internal box. i thought maybe about a hydor external heater. now is 300w enough power to heat ...

personally i would just get a 6ft pipe put it in the ground vertically and pour the water down that it would be deep enough that it shouldn't turn your garden into a swamp.

i personally see my l104 on the glass alot as soon as lights out and sometimes during the day and there is plenty of bogwood in the tank.
