Re: Loricaria rio Atabapo ... breed
Hi, I just stumbled across this thread and thought I'd toss my two cents in. We had spawned these a few years back. They came in a bag mixed with another species. I sold off all but one trio of these that I decided to keep. We lost the smaller female and it wasn't long before the pair spawned. We ...

Re: Which Parotocinclus??
Thanks Martin! I really appreciate the response. These are some of the neatest things. I'm looking forward to finding out more information on them. From what I see here there isn't a lot known. Hopefully I'll be able to find out some more. I'm going to set up a small species tank for them. Thanks ...

Which Parotocinclus??
I got a bunch of these guys in and have been trying to identify them. They came only as Parotocinclus Rio Negro. They are just about 1". Cute little buggers. I'm going to keep a group for myself and would like to learn a bit more about them. If anyone has any ideas I'd greatly appreciate it. They ...

Help with ID -oddballs in L129 shipment
Hello everyone, A few weeks ago I got a shipment of L-129 plecos from Colombia. In the group were two of these little guys. They are about 2" right now. Any help would be greatly appreciated. http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h62/Pasodreams/Picture025.jpg http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h62 ...

Re: Got a shoal of Sterbai today
Nothing at my house follows the norm. Some of the so-called easy fish are the hardest ones for me. Ian told me all you had to do to get the pygmy corys to spawn was shake a stick at them. Not at my house. I have all the dwarfs cories and not a fry in site. I know the other cories I have are more ...

Re: Got a shoal of Sterbai today
Hi, I've been lurking and saw your post about Sterbai. I got a group of 5 about 3 or 4 months ago. I lost two but ended up with a female and two males. They are about the size of yours and spawn after every water change. I didn't do a water change this week to give them a break. They are laying ...
