Re: Hybrid Syno...Info needed...
in the philippines, this is being sold as synodontis valentiana. it's very much similar to the decorus, but the head and tail pattern is different. i am not quite sure how big this fish grows. i have one that's about 5 inches now.

Re: please id
it's around 23 degrees on average and reaches about 19 at night. quite cold considering our normal weather is 32 degrees. i'll transfer this fish to a pond when it gets really big.

Re: synodontis?
sorry about the pictures. i was hoping this would be a true ornatipinnis. the head pattern is very similar and the stripes on the tail is the same as well.

Re: please id
it's currently 6 inches now. oh no. you think it would really grow that big? i was hoping this would fall under the dwarf doras species. tank mates right now include synodontis and an 8 inch african arowana. it feeds on small guppies but it also takes pellets and frozen blood worms.

Re: Chacas and plecos?
thanks richard. i still find it strange though that a 12 inch pleco would die just like that. i mean my chaca is about 4 inches. besides, my two other plecos in the tank weren't affected.

Re: Chacas and plecos?
hi. i recently got a chaca bankanensis and palced it in a 75 gallon tank together with some synodontis, a 12 inch albino gibbiceps, L47 pleco and a peckoltia. 3 days later the gibbeceps died. is it possible that it got poisoned by the chaca? are my other fish in danger too?

Re: bagarius
thanks. i decided not to get one anymore. might be too much of a risk to house it with other fishes.

bagarius
recently the bagarius became available in the market here. a friend of mine is selling one at 10inches. will it be compatible with an arowana and a pleco? i'm not sure if it's a suchus or a yarelli.

thanks silurus. i might have to sell my nemurus if that's the case. all my other tanks house smaller catfishes like corydoras and whiptails.

albino nemurus and sperata
hi. recently bought an albino hemibagrus nemurus and a sperata. size is about 5-6inches. i housed them in a 75gallon tank together with a synodotus decorus(2.5inches), an albino gibbiceps(10inches), and a tatia intermedia(3inches). today i saw my gibbiceps' fins in bad condition. you have any idea ...
