Is this a multipunctatus x Petricola hybrid ?

I have my doubts.
Neither have yellow in the body.
Those catfish species have very different spawning techniques, and the multipunctatus are 3 to 4 times the size of petricolas. Their eyes are very different as well ...

I think the weberi has a larger dorsal and the tail has a different shape with extensions

Another member on my home forum is looking for an ID on this mottled, spotted 8 inch pleco.
The bamboo stick was used to try to open the dorsal and tail fins for easier ID by the experts here :wink:
