feed a little at a time once a week if after feeding you think the fish are showing signs of distress forget it!!

most pleco's have a number of color patterns :!: the size of the fish color changes with age / stress is one reason / substrate and furniture is another and the night time pattern :wink:

forgot to say on a nature progam it showed hatchfish leaping 12 inch plus out of water striaght up :cheers:

hatchfish leap out of water in wild to avoid predators any sudden movement/flash of color will trigger this automatic reaction :P
