Re: synodontis lucipinnis egg size
The eggs are very small and clear. The fry are thus very small and stay clear until ~3/8" or so before they start getting spots. They grow slowly. I have had sucessful spawns of 400 fry and I have friends who had thousands of them. Can be a pain to hatch and raise due to the small size. I have quit ...

Re: How many L-134?
They are just growing out now, haven't had them long. I will split them and setup 2 groups. I tend to over crowd most of my fish, and old African cichlid habit. Re: How many L-134?
I have 19 in a 36 x 18 tank. They range from almost 2" to 3". I have had them for about 2 months. Lots of caves and hiding places but I know it will be at least a year before they are close to being big enough. I am spawning L129 and L199 so I hope to have luck with these also.

I had been looking at bringing in a box wholesale for about this price but would have had to deal with treating them and ...

Re: Syno Petricola fry
The eggs are clear and very small. The adults will eat them all if they can get yo them. I had 6 show up with a young group I was growing out that somehow managed not to get eaten. The eggs hatch after 18-24 hours and take a few days to abosrb the yolk sack, also still clear at this point. They need ...
