I'll be adding at least one TSN Pseudoplatystoma tigrinum, one Marble cat Leiarius longibarbis , as well as some gobies (marbled sleeper goby, and a jade) and a clown knife.

So I'm putting in a 300-400 gallon indoor catfish pond and I was wondering if anyone had suggestions for what to use on the bottom. I was thinking something light colored to make the fish stand out more, and I'd prefer sand rather than gravel. My only concern is sand getting into the pump. Any ideas ...

Thanks for the info everyone, I actually work at a LFS in the US, but even our suppliers don't always have some of the oddballs that I've seen on the site, so just looking for more ways to collect some of the fish that I don't see around. I was actually referring to finding the catfish themselves, mostly places people have bought fish from and have had good experiences with, but if you have any good suggestions for finding info I'd take that too. So if anyone had a good experience purchasing a cat online let people know about it ...

Just wanted to say hello to everyone on the site, and thanks to the moderators/organizers for putting a really successful and informative site together. And just was wanting to know if anyone had information on trustworthy online sources to find some of the more odd and rare cats.
