Thanks for the comments. I don't necessarily want to get out of the hobby, but I just feel like a terrible fishkeeper and that things would be better off if I left. But I am going to stick it out and see how this goes. But it doesn't look good at all. Most of the plecos are hanging out on the glass ...

cut some zuchinni and cucumber. about 2 inches of each, split it down the middle. Take out a bit of the seeds from the cucumber, just with a knife, just a shallow dig in the middle. get a stainless steele fork or spoon. Wow, its heartening to hear all the survival recounts - I'm much more optimistic of my BN longer term survival then! That 9 hr Oto is absolutely incredible! Unfortunately my own experience is that several instances when Otos would jump from my tank they never survived.

yeah, he looks a little ragged - hope he recovers ok though, fingers crossed.
