Glad to know he isn't going to get enormous. I was in the store debating getting him for the longest time, just because I don't really have room for a 2 foot pleco. aha

It's not a "common pleco" as in Pterygoplichthys pardalis . It looks more like Hypostomus plecostomoides , or similar. Pretty much any nondescript, large, and brown pleco can be called a "common" though, and these are usually either a Pterygoplichthys or Hypostomus spp. Ooh, that looks pretty close ...

Does anyone know what this guy is? I just got this cat, probibly 7'' that been at my lfs for months, it looks identical to an ompok (bimac) but it has a bullhead face and 2 yellow lines on its tail..
any idea what it could be?

He turns dark grey on top when the lights are out.
Probibly due to the white sand washing him out.

Yeah. Mines just not quite so fat as the first picture, and the sna dwashes him out a bit, but it looks the same. He occasionally will swim like a paroon too. Im in the US BTW :mrgreen: So, do you have photos of the fish you're willing for the site to use by any chance? The fish in the second ...
