Re: Breeding L316 in 35 Gallon?
Patience is the key. Eventuelly they might suprise you by spawning all of a sudden when you least suspect it. For the setup i would add some bottom coverage like a tiny layer of sand. The fish might get more relaxed without reflection of the bottom glass this way. I would replace most of the caves ...

Re: BN breeding questions- overlapping clutches in same cave?
I would not worry about the fry that were already in there before the eggs nor would I worry about the new eggs. If the male had some experience he will do fine to carry for the both of them. Regarding the rest of your questions there is a nice 2 part article in the Shane's world section also linked ...

Haavards articles on aquascaping are in the catfishology section. These include his tanks in which he holds his zebras. Might be worth checking b-) . Re: kuhlii's
Positive to hear that they only eat the dead eggs/fish. Seems like I'm going to the local fish shop soon
kuhlii's
In the near future I'm planning to keep a group of pangio kuhlii in my community tank.
The problem I have deciding to keep them: would they eat common ancistrus eggs or fry from my pair which is househoulded in the same community ?

Hi,
I bought these 2 al long time ago, but i've never been sure what they actually are.
They were labelled as .
I know the photos aren't that good and I will try to make some "belly" shots when I get the opportunity.

Re: Feeding of nettles to plecos?
Can white deadnettles be given without preparation ? And do they also contain lots of vitamin C ? Or are only the common stinging nettles and relatives good for feeding as I view on wikipedia that these 2 nettles are from a different family of plants . Would be nice to know, deadnettles don't sting ...

Re: A list of pl*cos that i would like to know about
Well then of you listed fish, I would suggest you start with L066 or L333, someone else may have other suggestions. They are frequently available and regularly bred, but still present enough of a challange to a new pl*co keeper. Breeding these "easy" Hypancistrus species will be harder than ...

yes :D i think that is a panaque maccus l104 just like my I personally don't agree with this , I bet on L002 , L169 or L397 but wich of those 3 it exactly is , is something for the more experienced loraciidlovers on the forum. Also if a P.maccus has stress-colors like this one it should be whole ...

I go with leucosticta , if a BN is 7.5cm or bigger they got more bristles in most of the cases. But if it's a late-developer it could be a male.
