ID confirmation please

I bought these 2 from a LFS, labelled as L236.
But my other friends wonder it looks more like L173.

Would you please help me for the ID, please?

Re: [Pics] New systerm - L46

If you post some photos, we can probably tell you what is "wrong".

Here are pics taken by my Canon 20D, as you can see the eye, it is not as sharp as Nikon.

Re: [Pics] New systerm - L46

Good lighting, good lens and patience are the three most important factors.

If you post some photos, we can probably tell you what is "wrong".

The 5DII is fantastic, by all reports.

[Pics] New systerm - L46

Have been a Canon fans for years, but that new DSLR 5DII really disappointed me, Perhaps it is time to change my system to Nikon.

Here are some pics with my new toy, I am still learning how to use this whole new system, even though Nikon is more sharp, but I still like the color of Canon. :wink ...

Re: L46 pics

Some more pic, since I got 5pcs more on last weekend.
The new resident are still hidding, except the one with thin black stripe. It's pics are over-exposed, since it's white is more bright than than the rest. I may need to try another camera setting when I have time.

Still no luck in breeding them ...

L46 - 28pics to sex 7pcs, thank you

Recently, I have acquired 2 more wild caught zebra, in addition with my 5pcs, now I have total 7pcs of them. I strongly believe that I have read almost all the threads about how to sex them in this forum, however, I still don't have a clue on their gender. The more I look at them and the more I read ...

Re: My Fish Room + L46 Setup

It has been like felt like a decade, since I set up my L46 breeding tank until I finally be able to find 5pcs. They are from 2 different sources, #1-4 are from LFS and sold to as wild caught, I thought I have 2 male and 2 female. #5 is a trade from my friend, which I thought is a female. However ...

Thank you to all of you.

I have re-set up the tank with a fine gravel, they are fine like sand, and in black colour. I remember that I read something here, saying, "if you have a darker substrate, you will have more active fish".

Will take some pic soon. :D

Alrite, after reading the comments from the Pros about the gravel that I am using, I think I am better off to use sand alone indeed. I think it wouldn't be too much of a hassle, as there is nothing in there now. :D

So, any comment regarding to the other setup? i.e. current, hiding caves ...

personaly, I use sand in all my tanks, not gravel. I do think they are very sharp, perhaps too sharp

Thank you Bas, I think so too and I will reconsider my choice of gravel. However, I do have 1 question, how do you keep the sand substrate clean? I assume a gravel-cleaner (or gravel-vaccum) is ...
